Robotic Seal Visits ESSE

Johnnie, Carol and MaryAnn interact with the PARO Robot Seal. Passages Hospice provided an hour of "play" for the participants at our Wheaton ESSE center with this interactive robot which provides psychological and social benefits.

ESSE Centers recognized for outstanding services to older adults

ESSE was nominated and recieved the "Everything Under the Sun Award" at the Governors'' Conference, Dec 9,2011. ESSE Centers are recognized for our outstanding services to older adults in the State of Illinois. The Illinois Department on Aging hosts an annual awards ceremony to recognize individuals and organizations whose contributions and accomplishments in assisting older adults merit recognition.
